Castling
A king-and-rook move that improves king safety.
Castling moves the king two squares toward a rook and the rook to the king's other side, in one move. It needs empty squares between them, no prior moves by either piece, and the king must not pass through check. Written O-O (kingside) or O-O-O (queenside).
