Embed a Chess Board
Put an interactive, replayable chess board on any website. Paste a ChessBhumi game link (or its code/UUID), or a FEN for a single position.

What this embed does
The snippet above is a plain <iframe> — the same tag used to embed a YouTube video or a Google Map — pointing at a small, self-contained page that shows a real, replayable chess board. Anyone who visits your site sees the actual game or position update live if you change it, without needing an account, a plugin, or any JavaScript library of their own. It works on any platform that allows iframes: a WordPress or Ghost blog post, a personal site, or a coaching page.
Two ways to embed
From a game — paste the URL of any completed public ChessBhumi game (or just its UUID) to embed the full move-by-move replay, exactly like the PGN Viewer but sized to drop into a page. Useful for annotating your own games in a blog post or sharing a lesson with a student.
From a FEN — paste a single FEN position to embed a static diagram instead of a full game, ideal for a puzzle, a "what would you play here?" post, or an opening line you're discussing.
Frequently asked questions
Does the embedded board cost anything or require an API key? No — it's free and needs no sign-up or key. The width/height attributes in the generated code are a starting point; most site editors let you resize the iframe afterward.
Can readers interact with the embedded board? Game embeds are replayable (step through the moves); FEN embeds show a fixed position. Neither lets a visitor play against you or edit the position — for that, they'd follow the embed back to ChessBhumi and use the board editor or start a real game.
The preview looks blank — why? Enter a valid game link/UUID or a full 8-rank FEN in the box above; the preview and embed code only populate once one of those is recognised.
