Fork
A single piece attacking two or more enemy pieces at once.
A fork is a double attack in which one piece threatens two or more enemy pieces simultaneously. The opponent can usually save only one, so the forking side wins material. Knights are the classic forking piece. Learn more on the fork pattern page.
